Animals A–Z Explorer is a free reference for discovering animals alphabetically, by category, habitat, diet, continent, and conservation status. Every species page brings together taxonomy, physical characteristics, behavior, and conservation status in one place.

Photography is sourced from Wikimedia Commons contributors under their respective free licenses, with attribution shown alongside each image. Where no suitable photo is available, we use a simple illustration instead of leaving a broken image.

The dataset is built to scale from hundreds to thousands of species over time, with new animals, comparisons, and collections added regularly.
